The principle annual publication for national account statistics, the National Statistics Blue Book provides detailed estimates of the domestic national product, income and expenditure for the United Kingdom. The presentation of accounts is based on the European System of Accounts (ES95) which is itself based on the System of National Accounts 1993 (SNA 93). SNA93 has been widely adopted worldwide. The Blue Book covers value added by industry, full accounts by sector including non-financial corporations, financial corporations, central and local government and households, and capital formation. Tables contain data for up to the last eighteen years and explanatory text and definitions are included. The book also includes a summary of the environment accounts.
