The Author: Michael E. Obinna is presently a lecturer of English language at the University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He obtained a Ph.D. in education specializing in curriculum language studies in 1978/79 and a M.A. in English language and literature, both from Catholic University of America; a BA in English from Xavier University of Louisiana - New Orleans, USA, and a diploma of education in the teaching of English as a second language from Exeter University Institute of Education, Exeter England.
