The issues related to Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health are one of paramount importance while dealing, with not only the affected section of the adult population, but also for those who lead a relatively healthy and trouble-free existence. A number of adolescent related surveys conducted country wide from the year 2000 onward, indicate a distinct increase in promiscuous adolescent sexual activity, which is mostly impulsive, without adequate knowledge of sexual and reproductive health issues, and seldom with the awareness of practicing safe sex.
