Asthma is a chronic disease that involves inflammation of the bronchial tubes which leads to difficulty in breathing. The prevalence of asthma is steadily increasing throughout the world. The traditional environmental risk factors fail to explain the increase in occurrence of asthma. This book' "Psychology of Asthma: Current Explorations" attempts to explain the role of the psychological factors in the morbidity, genesis, incidence severity of asthma.
